The award stems from Grace University experiencing a 29 percent growth rate in enrollment in the 2013-2014 school year. Vermooten, LindaDr. Linda Vermooten has been named a Diplomate within the American Psychotherapy Association®.

Dr. Vermooten’s new designation as Diplomate is limited to a select group of professionals who have demonstrated outstanding abilities within their specialty and meet the stringent requirements of the American Psychotherapy Association in the areas of knowledge, skill, education, training and experience in the therapeutic process. Grace University Experiences Largest New Student Enrollment in 30 Years

Grace University has the largest new student enrollment in more than 30 years. The number of new students arriving on campus from across the country total 161, which is a 55 percent increase over 2012. This is also the second consecutive year that enrollment has increased for the private, Christian university. Enrollment data show that while the top number of students are from Nebraska, California is ranked as the number two home state for new Grace University students.  Additional incoming freshman are already applying for the January 2014 semester. Grace University Expands Adult Education Program

Jim SantoroGrace University is expanding its EXCEL adult degree completion program because of its commitment to serving students and making Christian higher education more available locally, nationally and internationally.

The EXCEL degree completion program offers professional degrees in Business Leadership, Psychology, and Christian Ministry. Courses are five to six weeks long and classes meet in the evenings or online, making the EXCEL program a great fit for those working full time or serving in the military. Students typically complete the accelerated program, earning a bachelor’s degree, within an average of 16 months.

The Graduate College at Grace University is expanding ministry opportunities and doubling its size with the addition of three new highly sought-after programs.
